Mr Morley is Chair of Developing East Arnhem Limited and Modra Technology Pty Ltd.

Mr Morley is an accomplished senior executive and Non-Executive Director with extensive strategic and operational experience across the mining & metals sector. His involvement in the steel industry spans nearly 30 years, including his early work as a corporate lawyer with Clayton Utz advising Smorgon Steel Group and later serving as its General Counsel. He held several senior roles at global mining and metals company Nyrstar N.V., including leading the Metals Processing division’s operations spanning Europe, the US and Australia. Mr Morley was also a Non-Executive Director of Liberty InfraBuild Limited from January 2019 to July 2025.

As a qualified lawyer, Michael brings significant governance, corporate and mergers & acquisitions experience.

Mr Morley is a member of the Safety and Sustainability Committee and the Nomination Committee.
