Mr Morley is Chair of Developing East Arnhem Limited and Modra Technology Pty Ltd.
Mr Morley is an accomplished senior executive and Non-Executive Director with extensive strategic and operational experience across the mining and metals sector.
His involvement in the steel industry spans nearly 30 years, including his early work as a corporate lawyer with Clayton Utz advising Smorgon Steel Group and later serving as its General Counsel. He held several senior positions at global mining and metals company Nyrstar N.V., a key supplier to the global steel industry, including Senior Vice President of the Metals Processing division, leading operations spanning Europe, the US and Australia. Mr Morley was also a Non-Executive Director of Liberty InfraBuild Limited from January 2019 to July 2025.
As a qualified lawyer, Michael brings significant governance, corporate and mergers and acquisitions experience.
Mr Morley is a member of the Safety and Sustainability Committee and the Nomination Committee.
