USA: Kansas City employees have been volunteering at the annual United Way Day of Action for over 18 years. This year over 40 volunteers, including friends and family, helped paint, organise the library, and do some outdoor landscaping at the J&D Wagner unit of the Boys & Girls Club.  The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City provide opportunities in character and leadership development; health and life skills; education, technology and career development; sports, recreation and fitness; and the arts; to promote the development of self-esteem, values, and skills for children aged 5-18, with special emphasis on disadvantaged youth.
