BlueScope Coated Products was established in June 2022, being a result of BlueScope acquiring the coil coatings business from Cornerstone Building Brands, including products sold under the Metal Coaters and Metal Prep brands.

BlueScope Coated Products is the second largest metal painter in the US, with a total capacity of around 900,000 tonnes per annum across seven facilities.

It paints a range of finishes on steel and aluminium substrates for many applications, including building products and manufactured goods, with a demonstrated history of robust financial performance, and a sales mix focused on attractive end-use segments.
