BlueScope is proud to support Sport Access Foundation (SAF), which offers grants to Australian children with a disability to give them an opportunity to play and participate in all levels of sport.
A number of BlueScope employees volunteer time and professional expertise to SAF in areas such as strategy development, communication and promotion.
Katie Kelly OAM, Paralympian and Founder of SAF, is a past participant in BlueScope’s innovative ‘Change the Game’ program which brings together ten elite female athletes and ten BlueScope employees for mutual learning and development opportunities over a 12 month period. The program highlights the synergies between the sporting and corporate worlds, and will continue to help develop BlueScope’s next generation of leaders into elite performers. It also supports the Company’s inclusion strategy – to foster a talented workforce comprised of diverse opinion, gender, background, education, culture, experience, and beliefs.
